Our Policy Wordings
We have unique specially enhanced wordings agreed with each insurer, we do not believe that a standard residential property owners product is suitable for blocks of flats. A standard residential property owners policy usually has an unoccupancy clause which kicks in when a single flat is unoccupied, the terms are usually impossible to comply with, with perils being deleted.
Our policies do not do this – we simply apply an additional £500 excess. If someone has let their flat out many standard residential property owners policies only pay loss of rent to the policyholder not the individual leaseholders. Read More
